Mouda has been awarded as the Winner in the "Public Sector Best Performing Unit" by SAMARTH (Sustainable Agrarian Mission on Use of Agri- Residue in Thermal Power Plants) in a ceremony conducted at New Delhi in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of State for Power Shri Krishan Pal, Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD (NTPC) and other dignitaries.

Mouda station has also been awarded as “Winner- Public Sector Best Performing Unit” in the Category of IPP Coal- Above 500 MW in recognition of its outstanding achievements in exceptional unit performance, efficiency and reliability for 2023 by CEE (Council of Enviro Excellence). 

This has been received as an appreciation of the Highest Biomass Cofiring in Thermal Power Plants. The award was handed over to HOP Mouda in the presence of CGM (Project), GM (O&M), GM (TS) and GM (Operation) and other senior officials of NTPC Mouda. HOP Mouda congratulated everyone on this feat and motivated them to continue the good work.
